(From the book What I Eat: Around the World in 80 Diets.) In the dry, near desert conditions of drought stricken Kenya, discarded plastic bags are eaten by cows while grazing. Maasai wealth is derived from the cattle owned, the land, and the number of children born to support the family busines, which is cattle and goats.
